WE LOVE OUR KIDS!
Mrs. Judy Ronzani
Mrs. Judy Ronzani is director and founder of Sonshine Patch Christian Preschool. She taught 1st, 2nd and 3rd grades after receiving her Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from UW Stevens Point and has taken many continuing education classes and seminars through the years. She believes that God led her to open The Sonshine Patch and likewise the creation of the preschool's Lovable Letter Puppet curriculum. She has been director and teacher at the school for 24 years. Judy will be co-teaching the Socialization and Basis Skills class this year. In addition, Judy is a trained facilitator of Love and Logic Parenting Classes and teaches both the "Early Childhood Made Fun" and "Becoming a Love and Logic Parent" classes at preschool and in the community, as well as training her teachers in Love and Logic teaching. Besides teaching little ones, Judy's passion is gardening. She and her husband Rick share their certified backyard wildlife habitat with the Getting Ready for Kindergarten children in a hands-on field trip in spring. They have one daughter, Andrea who is married to Brian and lives in Oakland, California. They attend Mad City Church.
Miss Jenni Osborn
Miss Jenni Osborn received her Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of North Texas in Spring of 2002. Her major is Early Childhood Education and she has had numerous teaching experiences during her internships with 4-5 year old preschool, kindergarten, 2nd and 3rd grade. She did her Professional Development Internship in kindergarten at Haslet Elementary School in Haslet, Texas. In August 2003, she was hired as a 2nd grade teacher at Haslet Elementary school. After moving to Wisconsin, she has been a substitute teacher in the Janesville and Milton Public Schools. Jenni is a very motivated young woman, who has energetically taken on the curriculum planning and teaching for our new Kindergarten class, which she will be teaching. She is trained as a Love and Logic teacher and has lots of creative ideas for our school. Her face lights up when talking about kids and she will be beginning her fourth year at Sonshine Patch. She attends Seventh Day Baptist church in Milton.
Mrs. Nancy Gorman
Nancy will be co-teaching the morning Getting Ready for Kindergarten class with Miss Osborn. Nancy is mom to Jay, a 2006 Sonshine Patch graduate. In addition to Jay, she and her husband, Randy are also parents to Claire and Allyson. Nancy is licensed by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction as a classroom teacher for grades K-8. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville and taught kindergarten for 4 years in the Janesville School District before becoming a full time mom. Nancy's warmth is combined with her loving guidance to make her a wonderful addition to our school. She also is trained as a Love and Logic teacher. In addition, as a Sonshine Patch mom, she brings with her the 'parent perspective' as well as teacher knowledge. Nancy begins her third year at Sonshine Patch. She and her family attend St William's Catholic Church.
Mrs. Sara
Sullivan
Though Sara Sullivan is new as a Sonshine Patch teacher, she is certainly not new to Sonshine Patch.. Sara is very familiar with our program since her daughter, Emma, is a graduate of Sonshine Patch and son, Max will attend the Getting Ready for Kindergarten class. She has been active as a parent helper in our classroom. Sara received her Bachelor of Science Degree in K-8 Education and Cognitive Disabilities. She has worked in several preschool positions and as a CD/ED teacher in McFarland. Most recently she has been at home being mom to her children and opening (with her friend, Heather) a business very close to her heart. As the mother of two adopted children, her business, "My Culture", (www.my-culture.com ) specializes in custom adoption products that will help adopted children identify with their birth country. Sara has also taken training in Love and Logic and regularly practices it on her children! We are excited to welcome Sara and her enthusiastic love of children to our Sonshine Patch staff. She and her husband, Shawn, attend St. Paul's Lutheran Church.
When the children
leave Sonshine Patch, they leave their
fingerprints on our hearts!
